Recommendations for Planning Trips

  • Safetywise - Check Safetywise for every trip, including trip guidelines and activity checkpoints
  • First Aid - on all trips, plan ahead for first aider, and other appropriately certified adults, (example: lifeguards)
  • Think Progression! - start small, work up to longer trips.
  • Participant Agreements- use participant agreements for trips, including both girls and adults. Let the girls come up with their own version.
  • International Trips - Girls must be at least 14 years old. Expect to plan 2 to 3 years for an international trip
