FEBRUARY MEETING DATE CHANGE
Due to a science fair at our usual meeting place,the February Leader/Volunteer meeting has been moved to February 27th. This is going to be an exciting meeting as we will have Juliette Low's truck there and some great ideas for try-it, badge and IPs. Be sure to update your calendar!

CADETTE CAMPOREE
An organizational meeting is scheduled for March 12th, 2008 for troops interested in participating in Cadette Camporee. Contact Kirsten for more information on dates, location and status of service unit approval.

TROOP TRIPS AND ACTIVITIES
If you are taking a trip with your troop, from a local picnic in the park, to an international adventure, send permission slips and 52X forms to Sheila. Current guidelines for trips may be found on the trips web page, or with the 52X Trip Approval Form.

THE RESOURCE LIBRARY IS MORE THAN BOOKS!
Our Resource Library was recently inventoried, and a new listing of contents is now available on the Resource Library web page. You will find much more than books: games, props for ceremonies (including ponds, a bridge, candle logs), camping supplies (dutch ovens, tents, propane stoves!), and of course lots of resource books for troops and leaders. Check out the web page and give the Resource Librarian a call to arrange to borrow something.

Visit the Super Troop web page for information about this year's super troop. Your troop can have a rich and challenging year in your quest for this SUPER Troop Award! Offer your Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior or Girl Scouts 11-17 troop/group a well-rounded year of activities! Be a SUPER TROOP!!

TRACK YOUR TROOP FINANCIALS ALL YEAR LONG
Our service unit treasurer has put together some spreadsheets to help you track your troop finances through the year. Download this Excel spreadsheet and be ready when financial reports are due in June!

THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO GO
Our neighbors, Walnut Creek Girl Scouts, have put together a great list of things to do. Take a look at Out and About on their website. There are lots of ideas for trips throughout the Bay Area.
